Jeep is bringing back the Cherokee for the 2026 model year — now only with a hybrid powertrain. The car has become larger and more modern, but the price of the base version starts at just $36,995, which is cheaper than the 2023 model.
There will be four trim levels: Base (from $36,995), Laredo ($39,995), Limited ($42,495) and the top-end Overland ($45,595). The Limited and Overland will be the first to go on sale — they are promised by the end of 2025, and more affordable versions will appear in early 2026.
All versions are equipped with a hybrid based on a 1.6-liter gasoline engine and two electric motors. The total output is 210 hp. and 311 Nm, which makes the Cherokee economical, but at the same time dynamic enough for the city and the highway.
